Job Description:
Box Office and Front of House Associates are responsible for providing exceptional customer service while White Heron patrons are attending performances.
Tasks include selling and distributing tickets at our will-call desk, assisting patrons with orders over the phone and in-person, assisting with ticket exchanges and refunds,
scanning all patron tickets, handing out playbills, assisting patrons in finding their seats, and answering general inquiries.
Box Office Associates are also responsible for ensuring that the theatre is clean prior to each performance (checking theatre floors for ticket stubs and trash, taking out lobby trash when full, restocking bathrooms with soap, toilet paper and paper towels).
The Box Office Associate will also assist staff in ensuring that patrons follow all theatre policies (including masking if required and prohibiting food and drink in the theatre).
Box Office Associates should possess customer service and interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Prior experience with AudienceView is a plus but is not required. Training will be provided. Our Box Office Associates also receive complimentary show tickets.
White Heron Theatre is looking for 4 Box Office Associates with two Associates working per performance. Box Office Associates must be available to work a minimum of 3-4 days per week. This opportunity is perfect for those individuals looking to supplement their incomes in a friendly environment.
Hours:
5:30pm-8:00pm, Monday-Sunday. Occasional matinees on Sunday (2pm-4:30pm).
Timeline:
June 26-September 3, with training shifts prior to June 26. Applicants with availability ending mid to late August will be considered.
